Upcoming migrant kitchen: Try flavours of Congo!
Migrant Kitchens is a series of lunch tastings featuring the food of migrants living in Athens. Culinary Backstreets Athens has joined with Vryssaki, Give Hope Greece and Asty Team to support a series of culinary activities in Athens. In our first tasting on April 28, more than 250 people turned up to try spicy Ghanaian dishes cooked by Richard and Benny. On our second event Patrique and Zadioc from the Congo will cook fumbwa (african spinach) with cashew nuts and fried plantain bananas with spicy chili sauce. Tasting is free and open to the public.
